Global Anti-Chevron Day Report Back

Last Wednesday, May 21, PASS members joined Tacoma DSA, Olympia JVP, Tacoma JVP, and members of the community at the DuPont Chevron station in response to the global anti-Chevron day called by Amazon Watch ahead of the 2025 Chevron shareholders meeting on May 28. Chevron is the largest energy provider for the Israeli military and illegally operates pipelines and oil fields off the coast of Gaza. The DuPont protesters stood alongside similar actions in Renton, Wenatchee, down the entire West Coast, and throughout the rest of the United States.

The DuPont action was the first time the people of the South Puget Sound grabbed signs to support the BDS campaign against the oil giant that is fueling the destruction of Gaza and the planet, but it will not be the last!

Keep your eyes open for upcoming Chevron actions in Olympia/Lacey/Tumwater and remember to Boycott Chevron!

Chevron BDS calls to action

Two events early next week aim to invigorate the national anti-Chevron BDS movement by bringing it to the South Sound. Chevron is the largest energy supplier to Israel, including its military and prisons. Join the movement to demand an end to the American-Israeli genocide in Gaza and apartheid across Israel/

May 5 PASS General Meeting Agenda and May Day Events

Monday, May 5 is the next PASS general meeting. As always, the meeting will be held at 220 Union Ave SE, Olympia, WA 98501 in Friendship Hall. The general meeting will start at 7pm and sub-committees may choose to meet separately afterwards (usually around 8pm). The agenda is attached below.
